Thinking in Systems: A Primer by Donella H. Meadows

Review

A difficult book to rate. The good: it has opened my eyes somewhat to a new way of looking at the world. I feel like I have a few new tools in my mental toolbox.

The less good: while I found the subject matter interesting, frankly it was a bit of a slog to get through. I also don’t feel I have been given a thorough grinding in the subject. I genuinely can’t tell you if the field is one of intellectual rigour and theory, or just an at times useful tool for adjusting one’s perspective.
