Hi, I’m Chris. Welcome to my site.

I live in Manchester, UK. It’s grey and wet, but it’s home.

My day job is as a software developer/engineer, and am proud to work for the BBC. I occasionally blog about software-related things over at vaughandroid.me.

In my spare time I love doing sports, in particular running and bouldering. I also love games (video, board, or card) and puzzles.

About this site

The target audience for this site is, well, me.

I’m old enough that I’ve forgotten a lot of things over the years, and some of them were probably worth holding on to. I’ve tried a few times to keep a diary, but the habit never stuck. This site isn’t going to be a diary, but hopefully it can act as a sort of net to allow me to hold onto some of the more interesting or worthwhile thoughts and experiences.
